What parents love
“Bree was easy to understand and explained how to do each type of massage simply to someone who has no massage background. My 8 month old was super wiggly and not too into getting the massage at times, but Bree never showed frustration and assured me that I was doing the right thing by letting my baby play when she wanted to. My baby is now more used to getting massages and the techniques I learned have helped my baby relax before bedtime instead of fight it. I would recommend this class to anyone!” —Kaci, First Time Mom
Frequently asked questions
How old does my baby have to be to take the class?
This class is focused on babies 0-12 months, but you can absolutely use it with older babies and toddlers. Expectant parents are also very welcome to join us even before baby arrives! Grandparents, nannies, and other caregivers would also find great benefit in this class.
Will it be in person or online?
Live, online group classes are available at this time. You will be able to see your instructor demonstrate techniques and you will be able to see other participants throughout the course.
How long does the class last?
This class is a 3 series class. You are signing up for three classes lasting 40 - 60 minutes each. The classes will run for 3 consecutive weeks.
How is this class different than other infant massage classes?
This class is taught by a seasoned and licensed pediatric occupational therapist and mom who can answer both clinical and more personal questions. The class is focused on adding massage into your daily routines, focusing on the bonding and interaction throughout the day, instead of setting aside long periods of time each day to reserve for a full body massage. As with all things here at Sprout and Thrive, you will leave this class empowered and confident, with science-based strategies that fit into your already busy days.
What if my baby doesn’t cooperate?
That is totally fine! This is a class for babies; if baby wants to roll over, sit up, or play a little bit, let them! You can try to bring baby back to the massage after a few minutes to see if they are ready to continue. If not, feel free to take notes of the parts you’re not able to try on your baby in the moment. The most important part is that you follow your baby’s lead and remain flexible.
What if the class is during my baby’s nap time?
That is also fine! Join us for class and have your baby join us when they’re up from their nap. If baby snoozes through the whole thing, feel free to take notes on the techniques and try them out later. A pillar of the program is following your baby’s lead, let them sleep if they need to.
Can I order the class for a friend or as a gift?
Yes! Enter your friend’s email address at the time of purchase and registration information will be sent right to them.
What happens if i have to miss a class?
Due to the live nature of this class, it must be attended at the time of each scheduled event. Due to high-demand, we are not able to offer make up classes at this time. We do not have an on-demand make up option at this time, but are working on one for the future. If you have to miss a class, you will be added to a list and notified when the on-demand class is available so you can watch the makeup class later.
What is your refund policy?
We proudly stand behind the quality content in each of our classes. If you feel you did not learn anything new after attending the first of the three classes, we will offer you a full refund. We can not offer a refund if you’ve attended over 50% of the class. Attendance is not able to be transferred to another individual once someone has started the series.
